Programmes - London Knowledge Transfer Awards 2008Are you engaged in knowledge transfer within London? …then get the recognition you deserve with The UK is recognised as one of the strongest countries in the world for research and scientific discovery and London has a world leading knowledge base, comprising education establishments and research organisations, together with the structure to transfer knowledge. The London Knowledge Transfer Awards is a new vibrant award scheme designed to recognise the success of knowledge transfer within London. The Awards will raise awareness of the benefits of business and knowledge base joint working, while promoting and celebrating successful collaborations. Supported by the London Development Agency (LDA), the Awards seek to recognise London's Innovation in the business arena and are open to all businesses and knowledge base organisations located within the City, large or small. The New Engineering Foundation is proud to sponsor the Knowledge Transfer Champion Award 2008 with the Institute of Knowledge Transfer. The Knowledge Transfer Champion Award is to acknowledge a successful individual working in the business development, Knowledge Transfer or Technology Transfer department of an HEI, FE College or other research organisation who has demonstrated outstanding achievements and business acumen in their field. The category offers the opportunity for individuals of all levels to highlight their skills and abilities as a facilitator of Knowledge Transfer to the business community. The three finalists will be selected by a judging panel and then the public will have the opportunity to vote for their winner.
