Briefings

NEF Briefings aim to inform the FE sector aware of the opportunities presented by key research and policy development and to initiate action in the FE sector by the development and enhancement of provision – in Engineering, Applied Science, and Technology and cross curriculum.

Building on our current work on the low carbon agenda, we have focused our upcoming Briefings on sustainability and new technologies:

The Briefing will provide an overview of recent changes relating to the design and construction of Low Energy Homes and their implications for curriculum development and training.
The growth of wind farms will result in increasing demand for specialist technicians to construct, operate and maintain wind turbines feeding into the national electricity grid. The Briefing will look into opportunities for skills providers that arise from technological developments.

We welcome expressions of interest from potential industry speakers, sponsors and individuals who wish to attend. Please email events@neweng.org.uk

PLEASE NOTE THAT WE ARE INTRODUCING A NEW BOOKING SYSTEM.
IT WILL BE EASIER TO REGISTER FOR AN EVENT WITH US.
