Innovate to Educate

Delivered by the New Engineering Foundation (NEF) working in partnership with the Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (KTP) Programme, the workshops are designed to provide an introduction to knowledge transfer and to contextualise knowledge transfer in Further Education.

Workshop Objectives:

To develop a clear understanding of what knowledge transfer means in the Further Education context
To raise awareness of knowledge transfer and innovation amongst key decision makers in Further Education and demonstrate the practical opportunities available
To increase the number of knowledge transfer activities in Further Education.
To increase the number of Further Education based KTPs

Aimed at Vice Principals and Heads of SET departments, the workshops will develop a clear understanding of what knowledge transfer means in the Further Education context and demonstrate how knowledge transfer can provide practical opportunities for Further Education Colleges.

The workshops will be practical and interactive, using case study examples from colleges already active in knowledge transfer. They will be facilitated jointly by NEF and KTP. During the day we will be joined by KTP Regional Advisers and Universities experienced in Knowledge Transfer activities.
